Our House Assisted Living Resident Spotlight- Carolyn Kemp

Carolyn Kemp

Currently lives at Our House Assisted Living of West Sandy. Born April 26th in Salt Lake City.  She was married for 23 years and has 3 children and 7 grandchildren.  Carolyn enjoys walking, crochet, camping, and parties.  Likes spaghetti, ice cream, soup, shrimp and halibut.  Carolyn worked 20 years at Jordan Valley with the kids with special needs.  She enjoys Our House because of the company, desserts, feels safe, and the staff.  Carolyn looks forward to visits with the grandkids,

Carolyn’s family expressed that they are happy to have mom in such a nice place- thank you for taking such great great of her.

To The Staff at Our House,

We would like to thank the wonderful people who took such great care of our mom while she was in your care.  We know there were many loving hands that gave her the tender care she needed.  On the day of her passing we had some special care directed to the family members as well.  As we sat through the wee hours of the night Doris (Super Caregiver)  was at our side making sure we were comfortable as well.  And when our mom passed she continued the special care of her and of us.  She was our angel through the night.  We thank Nicole (Super Caregiver) for loving our mom and caring about her as if she were her own mom.  She made her smile and even dance a jig.  She was there caring until the end even when we made it hard for her she never gave up.  There are many more, and their names escape me now.  But we thank you all for everything.  You are all special angels.

We would like to express to you our great appreciation and thanks for the kind and loving way you took care of our Aunt Ruth and Uncle Heinz.

We felt that we were among family and always felt comfortable here. Thanks again.
