Money to pay for Assisted Living?

Veterans of War time or their surviving spouses may be eligible for a Disability Pension form the VA. The Veteran must have served one day during a time of war, 90 days of active duty, and received an honorable discharge. The Veteran or surviving spouse requires the assistance of another person for activities of daily living, such as meal preparation, medication managment, transportation, and many other medical needs. Cognitive Disability or Legal Blindness are stand alone qualifiers. The income on the Veteran or Surviving spouse must be less than the combined medical expenses. The cost of the Assisted Living is considered a medical expense.
The maximum benefit is $1,944 per month!
